Gretchen Casler
Gretchen has been working in various musical settings as a musician, singer, and songwriter for over 20 years. As a music instructor, Gretchen specializes in beginner/intermediate violin (with an emphasis on Suzuki training), beginner/intermediate acoustic guitar (especially rhythm guitar as accompaniment), and teaching various singer/songwriter techniques that help aspiring artists find their voice through musical storytelling. Her students have varied from elementary school aged children to retired adults wanting to get back to their love of music again.
Gretchen’s musical influences include everything from Classical, Jazz, Folk, Americana, Country, Blues, and Rock. Gretchen holds an M.A. in Ethnomusicology and a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts and actively seeks ways of using music to help others enhance well-being, build confidence, and facilitate personal transformation.
