Guitar Workshops

Elevate your guitar skills with our engaging one-day workshops led by Instructor Will Woodford. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced player, you'll dive into essential topics like music theory, melody creation and ear training. Each workshop caters to different experience levels, ensuring there's something for everyone. Join us unlock your musical potential!

Introduction to Music
Mondays 10:30am-11:30am
Introduce your child to the basics of music! Your toddler will learn the fundamentals of rhythm, pitch, and creative expression. With an emphasis on piano, this class encourages group activities,
sharing, and child development as preschoolers work together to complete class activities. Sessions incorporate review of new concepts to ensure little learners build a solid foundation while layering new music principles with previous material.
Designed for children ages 3-5
LMC House Band
Meets one Saturday per month.
Become a member of the Lynchburg Music Center House Band! Vocalists, guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers and percussionist of any skill level. Meets one Saturday per month for group rehearsals with performances in May and December.
Some experience with instrument is necessary. No audition required.
School of Rock
June 15-19, 2026 & July 6-10, 2026
Lynchburg Music hosts two weeks of School of Rock each summer, one in June and one in July. Over the course of five days, participants learn what it takes to start a band. Each day includes practical instruction and musical collaboration in preparation for a concert at the end of the week.
